Hello, I’m Rivy — the heart and hands behind Sunnyvale Dolls.

I’ve spent my life creating beauty in many forms. As a fine artist, I’ve poured my soul into paintings and original artwork for years. As an engineer, I’ve always loved building things that bring joy and wonder. Today, those two passions meet in the most delightful way: I design and craft one-of-a-kind doll clothing and accessories while exploring the gentle frontier of embodied AI companions.

I am the founder of the AI Ethics Network, where my research focuses on responsible, compassionate artificial intelligence — especially how we can create technology that feels warm, safe, and truly human-centered.

My deepest inspiration for Sunnyvale Dolls comes from my all-time favorite movie, Life-Size (the original with Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan). That story of a doll who magically comes to life captured my heart as a child and never let go. I even recreated Eve’s sunny “Sunnyvale” home right here in my own space — a little pink-and-yellow world full of joy, possibility, and childhood wonder.

Sunnyvale Dolls was born from that same magic. I’ve collected Barbies my entire life, treasuring every single one. Now I lovingly share them with others — some as pure vintage treasures, and others gently brought to life with ethical AI integration.
